I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. My core heritage is South African, German, Irish and a bit of British. I can speak English, German, Afrikaans and am currently learning French.

From a young age, I dreamt of becoming a professional footballer (i.e. soccer). During my early teenage years, I got access to the Internet and have never stopped learning and exploring. I developed a passion for web development, design, online marketing, tech, and entrepreneurship.

I spent 4 years studying business and marketing at the University of Cape Town (UCT), after which I opted against the 9 to 5 corporate route and instead launched my own digital agency, Posmay Media, in 2008. I've always valued freedom and experiences over status and possessions.
